On November 11 and 12, 2024, the I Baikal Legal Forum: Trends in Business Protection - 2024 was held in Irkutsk, the information partner of which was the IALC.
Over two days, the event was attended by more than 300 people from 11 cities. Speakers from Russia, China, Mongolia and Belarus addressed the guests.
The Baikal Legal Forum began with a business breakfast on the shore of Lake Baikal: the guests were welcomed in Listvyanka. A session of the Russian Public Relations Association was held there, where specialists spoke about the digital transformation of service management, customer focus and sales, and legal marketing.
After that, the event continued in the assembly hall of the Baikal Business Center Hotel in Irkutsk with the World Cafe session, where the speakers discussed the company's strategy, professional burnout, finding partners and motivating employees.
The second day of the forum began with speeches by top managers who spoke about their professional path, values and problems that they need to solve on a daily basis. Also, the second day was remembered for a business game on criminal law protection of business from Professor Y. P. Garmaev.
For two days, speakers and guests discussed practical tools for legal security of business and dispute resolution, problems of bankruptcy law and risks for entrepreneurs.
At the closing of the forum, the organizers announced the holding of the II Baikal Legal Forum: Business Protection Trends-2025 on October 30-31, 2025.
