- Yuri, how do you manage to combine activities in the field of taxation with participation in public initiatives and writing articles, speaking at forums? What skills from one direction help you in another?
"The combination of professional activities in taxation with public initiatives, publications and speeches at conferences are complementary areas. They reinforce each other, creating a synergistic effect.
Real cases from tax consulting serve as the basis for my articles and speeches.
Participation in working groups and discussions of draft laws allows you to influence regulation and keep abreast of trends.
Speaking increases my recognition as an expert, which helps to attract new clients and partners.
Thus, each direction does not take time, but multiplies my expertise in other areas. It is important to build processes so that they complement each other, and do not compete.
I am convinced that modern legal practice, especially in the field of taxation, is impossible without participation in public discussions, expert analytics and professional education. A lawyer should not only be a "techie" who knows the codes thoroughly, but also feel the context of their application."
